Amber Oaks Ranch   is a fledgling 70 acre homestead just south of Thorndale.  It was established in December 2015 by John & Molly Pantalone.  The purpose of Amber Oaks Ranch are three fold:  to provide a secure future for ourselves and family, to test our skills and ideas in small business and agriculture, and to provide a wholesome experience to our friends and neighbors.  To achieve this, we are currently in the process of settling up a homestead and a cow-calf ranching operation.  In the future we will be building a customer butchering facility and teaching homesteading classes to our friends and neighbors.  We believe that it is vitally important to feed the mind, body, and spriit with unadulterated truth.  We are alarmed by the current state of education and agricultural and are concerned for the welfare of the people we love.  To this end, we have established Amber Oaks Ranch in order to help people regain their freedom through independent living.

Vida Buena Farm  is in the process of raising domesticated birds such as chickens, quail and soon ducks for the purpose of farming meat and eggs for food.  Vida Buena is also a local organic produce grower.  They farm using only organic methods and focus on producing a diverse variety of the highest quality vegetables and herbs.

El Campesino is in the process of ramping up his Organic MicroGreen business.  Tony Guzman, owner and head chef, is growing healty Microgreens that are used as a fresh flavor ingredient  in restaurants and consumers serving upscale cuisine.   Microgreens are high in nutrients, contain polyphenols, improve heart health and reduce chronic disease risk.
