What is CSA:   Customer Supoortive Agriculture

A relationship between you and your local farmer.  Every week, biweekly and or monthly your farmer delivers a variety of freshly cut vegetables, herbs, chicken meat, pork meat and chickens and quail eggs to a convenient location.  Connecting with your local farm through CSA will get you to experience food in new ways - through seasonal eating, new and heirloom varieties, and recipes provided by your farmer.  Your CSA membership is also an investment in your community and for sustainable agriculture.

What to do:

In September we decide how many “Shares” we will be able to provide.  We start purchasing our seeds, transplants, prepare the soil and then we start planting.  We plant from seeds and transplants as most vegetables take around 45-100 days from seed to harvest.

What is in a CSA Box:

Each Share holder will receive a Share Box filled with a variety of organicaly grown Vegetables and Herbs.  The number of veggies and herbs will vary between 6-8.  The contents of each Share Box can be found on our website along with recipes using those items.

What does a CSA membership consist of:

1.  Weekly, BiWeekly or Monthly Share Boxes will have freshly harvested Veggies and Herbs.

2.  Invitation to Member Events:  We will hold annual Spring and Fall farm open house events so you can see where your food is grown.

3.  CSA Added Benefits:  The option to add to your CSA Share Box for example:  free range chicken eggs, quail eggs, goat meat, lamb meat, chicken meat, and pork meat.

4.  On Line Recipes
